About

Based out of Langley, Scott, owner of Wicked Customs, is hot rod born and raised and he has turned a hobby into a business.

Since this is not "Just a Job" he has the passion and eye to create Hot Rods & Customs at an affordable price that can fit ANY budget!

Growing up in Ocean Park, Scott had hot rods in his blood. His Father Ray Booth who built his first car in 1961 at age 14, along with close friend Bill Traquire, who is a hot rod Legend in the Pacific Northwest, let Scott tag along with them everywhere. By Trade Scott is an aircraft structural Technician and maintenance engineer so he has the ability to work metal. He is also accomplished at anything from building motors and chassis and specializes in body and paint. He was the proprietor of Wicked Performance for 12 years begining in 1999. In 2011 Wicked Performance became Wicked Customs.

Scott still has the first car he built in high school as well as a couple others. The "Wicked Customs 31 Phaeton" has won may awards including "Best 30s Custom Roadster" at the WORLD OF WHEELS and has been a magazine cover car.

The Shop has built many award winning cars including `Best Wild Custom Pre 1939`at the WORLD OF WHEELS and `Best Of Show`Ladner. One of the greatest accomplishments however is building cars that DRIVE. A testament to this was not only the Phaeton which drove to Reno, Nevada, trouble free 2 days after completion and currently has 44,000 miles on the odometer but a 1953 Chevy PU that was built from the ground up for an owner on the other side of the country who flew out and DROVE it home (3600 miles). It also had 15,000 put on it this summer as he took it to the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit and then to the furthest point East in North America (Cape Spear Newfoundland)!

Give us a shout to discuss a project of any size.  look forward to hearing from you.
